VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Few jobs offer you the opportunity to really help someone in need, or even become
a "hero." YOU, yes you, could be called to save a life at a moments notice! You could be that person
that rescues that child from a fire, saves the victim trapped in an automobile after a serious accident, or save someones
home from burning to the ground! You could be the person that children look up to when they dream about what
they want to be when they grow up. You could be one of the elite individuals that
are willing to help the very community that you live in. You could be one of the dedicated
firefighters that serve here.
The men and women who make up the Northwest St. Clair County Fire Protection
District share a common interest: the desire and courage to help others in need. This fire
district provides 24-hour protection through the dedication of its volunteer members. Providing
fire protection is a service, which has a proud and honorable tradition, especially as a
volunteer. To ensure the continuation of this excellent service, the Northwest Fire District is ALWAYS
looking for new members. Being a volunteer firefighter with the Northwest Fire District offers many benefits including,
accident/life insurance, paid on call, educational expenses, and the chance to challenge yourself with a tough job with
many personal rewards. Above all, the camaraderie of our team members and the everlasting
impression of "doing a good job" will last a lifetime in ones mind. Very few can accept this challenge. Are you capable of
helping your community? Volunteer- Try it-- You may like helping your neighbors when they are in need!
Experience is not necessary to join our team of dedicated professionals.
